Anxiety and Panic Away
Anxiety has inflicted and troubled many people all over the globe. The root of the meaning of this word is literally “to trouble.” It is actually normal for people to be anxious as a result of being stressed out but when its anxiety becomes too much it can then be classified as an anxiety disorder.
Anxiety affects four different aspects of the human life. Physically, it can be felt when the person has weak muscles, when the person feels fatigue, breathless, pain in the chest, headaches and stomachaches. They sweat and tremble and look pale. Anxiety can be coupled with panic attacks. Emotionally, the person with anxiety can feel scared, irritable, or restless. They have trouble concentrating and they expect the worst in things. With regards to cognitive effects, the person’s thoughts usually include dying. They connect the physical symptoms to symptoms of impending death and think about it very often. Behaviors can change, too. Many who have anxiety disorders withdraw from different situations that they are uncomfortable in. Others resort to nail biting or foot tapping.
People can feel anxious before taking exams or performing in front of a lot of people, or even when meeting or talking to strangers. These may be taken to extremes. People who did not feel that this was normal anymore have tried to look for ways to feel normal again. Many have searched various books, taken courses or treatment programs but to no avail. Then they discovered Panic Away.
This program was first discovered by Barry McDonagh. He was attending college in Ireland when he had panic attacks and suffered with Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD. He read many psychological books offering him knowledge and probable help for his problem. He found in his research that others were concentrating on a different area of solving the problem. He focused on a different aspect of the solution and he was freed from panic attacks and anxieties. He felt the desire to help other sufferers and taught them how he did it. They followed and they were also cured. He decided to create the program with his 21-7 techniques. He has helped people suffering with anxiety disorders from different parts of the world, even thousands from many countries.
People, who for too many times, felt anxious in different situations or had panic attacks discovered the simple principles and techniques taught by McDonagh. They were given renewed confidence to do things that they could not do or to go back to doing things that they enjoyed before. Simple things like driving and travelling were a hassle for some before but because of McDonagh’s program; they went back to their normal lives and have enjoyed it even more. In addition, they feel a deep gratitude to McDonagh for showing them the way to their new life.
