About the Fat Burning Furnace

The Fat Burning Furnace system is a weight loss program created by Rob Poulos. The 158-page guide mainly focuses on how to lose fat and gain muscle by raising your RMR (resting metabolic rate). This is where the fat burning “furnace” description comes into the mix as you begin to manipulate your body mechanics into burning calories much more efficiently. This is generally achieved by more strength orientated training with Rob suggesting ‘high intensity’ workouts as the most efficient.

The idea of raising your RMR is so that even when you are simply “resting” you are still losing calories and when you take part in a form of exercise you will “burn” more calories much more efficiently. Additionally, while it is generally noted that aerobic activities burn more calories, strength activities such as weight lifting do not. However, it’s important to remember that muscle burns many more calories while fat obviously does not. Generally speaking then, the more muscular you are, the higher your metabolic rate will remain and therefore, the more calories you will lose.
